What a lot of gunk and decaying leaves! Funny how discus keepers hate natural environments and most of them don't even have plants or substrate in their oh so clean and sterile tanks. The poor fish must get so bored.
In natural habitat, it is not dirt, it is natural leaves and debris from forest trees, and so the water will have all the natural acids and the perfect composition for fish, the turbidity in some places is natural, and others the water is clearer but with lots of leaves, trunks and vegetation, mother nature's house
I would like to ask a few questions about Santa Isabel Angelfish, which is the long-fin red-backed angelfish with spray spots that you have sold in the past few years and more than ten years ago. Is this fish still in stock? I would like to ask if it is the following situation, just tell me which one it is 1. In stock, and it is the red-backed red-finned angelfish with spray spots on its back as shown in the picture 2. In stock, but it looks different 3. Not in stock, it was available this year or last year, but it is not the fishing season now 4. Not in stock, it has not been caught much in recent years 5. Not within our business scope
Hello, the fish in the photos and videos are from past seasons, a few years ago. I usually catch these fish on customer orders, and they need some time in quarantine until they adapt and recover from the stress and damage caused by fishing nets. We will probably receive more in the next season between September and December. , contact me by e-mail hudson@hek.com.br
@@hekornamentalfish ok.thanks.

Super Nice fish!
Thanks
Ist das nicht ein aspisdoras🤔
Look closely, they were studied by some experts
In the wild they live in dirty water .Yet in captivity its recommended their water be crystal clear?.😮.
This is not a rule, in nature it lives in clear water too., Discus from Tapajos river they live in water with reasonable visibility, I have already dived and been able to observe
🤩🤩🤩
awsome
Hopefully you will have more n 2025 when my fishroom is back up and running
Thanks 🙏
I only export 🙏
@@hekornamentalfish I only import!
Awesome.
the more beautiful of them all . (ed holm)
2 males fight ?
i Think so
I was down that way in the early 90's with Jack Waltley collecting Discus, I haven't had a Discus tank in years tho 😞
Are there snorkeling tours here?
No, these places are quite isolated and only those who know this region can take someone there
Is this Santa Isabel river Hudson?
No , tapajos skalare angel
I really enjoyed to see this footage ... please what the name of the green appearance tetra fish ?
At the time of the video I wasn't very interested in tetras, and so I didn't try to identify the type of this species, sorry
@@hekornamentalfish It is just fine for me under water like your video looks magical 🙂
@@Gabriel-qh5yv Thanks😊

Hi, really very nice blue heckels, a dream. Heckels are my favourite discus. I think heckels are more herbivor than the other Symphysodon. I´d feed them spirulina granules, algae flakes and marine herbivor food too. Never beef heart & co .
Yes , and necessary a best food with Spiruline , Chlorella algae and vitamins , a best food
Hi, can i bay the fish?
If you have permission to import live fish into your country, yes, we can send it, but the cost is very high for Hobbyists
Nice St. Isabel angels.
Hi, what did you feed them here ?
Discusfood from Germany , www.discusfood.com/

Absolutely beautiful species. Which temperature does the Iriri river at the collecting points have?
26 - 28 c in the river water
@@hekornamentalfish thank you!

Look nice Hudson 👍
Thanks 🙏
Добрый день, что это за рыбки?
english please
What kind of plant live in there Sir?
Notice the water flux. The river isn't static t all. All rives have the water motion. one of the advantages of the canister, o a sump is to take advantage of that movement! The water has debris moving and particles, but the QUALITY of the water is the best for them. The quality is related to the pH, DKH, organics, conductivity, nutrients, pollutants, temperature, etc... We need to understand that the most important thing is water change and feeding with Discus. Very nice video!!!!
Exactly, these parameters are the secret to everything in Aquarism. , Thanks 🙏
So nice! Was the water cold or warm?
The temperature varies between 24-27 c depending on whether it is raining or not , Thanks 🙏
@@hekornamentalfish Thank you.
Beautiful & healthy looking Discus👍
Thanks 🙏
💚For the Algo💚
Thanks 🙏
Super pleco.👌💯
Thanks 🙏
I love how hypocrite we are that fishes need crystal clear water 😢they like to pick things from the debri and all of that gunk. Thats why i switched from planted tanks to biotopes ❤ Thanks for providing magical video ❤
The biggest issue is not clear or cloudy water, the dynamics of nature are very complex, the volumes of water, rainfall, circulation with currents, the water has turbidity, but there is no ammonia, nitrites and nitrates, the balance is perfect and the What changes the most is the PH of the water, during the dry period when it doesn't rain, the water levels drop and in some locations the rivers dry up, the organic load with leaves and plant debris from the forest sends humic acids and gases from the decomposition of the forest. organic matter in rivers and lakes, causing the water to have low oxygenation and an acidic pH, reaching up to 2-3 Ph, during the flood period with a lot of rain the pH is between 6 and 6.5
@@hekornamentalfish true I'm also saw that in my native river
@@yashtapase3821 Yes , thanks 🙏
